Earlier this month - On May 7, 2022 - the two core process modules of the Canadian LNG project undertaken by COOEC were successfully delivered in Qingdao, Shandong

These modules are considered the world's first integrated LNG core process modules

The two modules delivered are the core process modules of the AGRU (acid gas removal unit). The modules have a height equivalent to a 16-story residential building and a single weight equivalent to an Eiffel Tower. The AGRU is responsible for the acid gas removal task of raw gas pretreatment and is responsible for the entire LNG.

The first phase of the Canadian LNG project plans to build two production lines with an annual output of 13 million tons. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will supply liquefied natural gas to major Asian consumer markets such as China, which is conducive to the diversification of China's natural gas import channels.

COOEC undertakes the construction of 35 modules of the project, including all 19 core process modules, with a total weight of about 178,830 tons. The first of these public core process modules arrived at the installation site at the Canadian project site in March this year. At present, all 35 modules of the project have been started and assembled, of which 32 modules have been assembled and carried, and the overall construction progress is nearly 80%.
